5 Tips To Keep The Furniture In The House In Perfect Condition

If you want your furniture to be kept in perfect condition, start by paying more attention to it. Factors such as the weather, your cleaning routine at home, and toiletries may be influencing them to deteriorate more quickly.

  1. Do not put anything hot on wooden furniture:

Wood does not resist heat on it, therefore, immediately put a glass or any hot container, and a stain will be made. For this reason, if your bedside table or dining room table is made of wood, try to always have a coaster or placemats on hand.

Something very remarkable about this material is that thanks to being natural, its restoration is not so complicated and does not require an impeccable appearance.

  1. Clean thoroughly:

Especially with fabric furniture, spend a lot of time vacuuming the seats and backrests, as deep as you can. This is to eliminate lint and other residues that we are not going to cover just by passing a cloth.

  1. Immediately remove stains:

If you spilled liquid or anything on the furniture, clean it up immediately. The longer you take to remove a stain, the more it will be impregnated. Clean with a clean tissue or cloth, supporting it and pressing on the stain.

  1. Furniture away from the sun:

Both wood and leather and other common elements used to upholster furniture lose color and quality or can break or crack when exposed to the sun for a long time.

  1. Avoid ammonia:

Make sure that the products you clean your furniture with do not contain ammonia. This, over time, takes away its shine and alters its color. Although there are endless cleaning products on the market, which also contain ammonia, always look for the most natural.
